Mexico's biggest aircraft has proposed to fly Olympic jumpers Alejandra Orozco and Gabriela Agúndez to the current year's big showdowns free of charge after government financing slices constrained them to attempt to track down ways of paying their own entry.

World class Mexican sea-going competitors have been headed to selling towels and swimsuits among other raising support drives since government subsidizing was cut in succession over the administration of the Mexican Swimming Alliance (FMN).

On Wednesday, Orozco and Agndez said on national radio that they had thought about selling their Olympic medals to continue competing around the world in the lead-up to the Paris Games next year.

However, a few seconds later, they received an on-air call from an executive at Aeromexico announcing that the airline would transport the entire diving team to the Aquatics World Championships in Japan in July.

Christian Pastrana, director of communications, stated, "We have followed the success of Alejandra and Gabriela closely, and if they have to go to Japan, Aeromexico will take them, and we will be delighted to do it."

Orozco, who won a synchronized 10m stage silver decoration at London 2012 and collaborated with Agúndez to win a bronze at the last Olympics in Tokyo in 2021, said the pair had just hesitantly thought about selling their awards.

Orozco, 26, stated to the Mexican network Radio Formula, "We don't want to go to the extreme of auctioning our medals; we are offering conferences and talks to children so that they don't get discouraged by these situations in sport."

Following World Aquatics' decision to appoint a "stabilization committee" to run the organization and withdraw its recognition of Kiril Todorov as president, sports ministry president Ana Guevara made the decision in January to reduce funding for FMN.

Todorov is presently having to deal with a preliminary in Mexico on penalties of misappropriation. He has stated his innocence numerous times.

The offer from Aeromexico is not the first instance of a private initiative assisting Mexico's aquatic athletes.

Through his charitable foundation, billionaire Carlos Slim provided funding for the Artistic Swimming team's trip to the World Championships in Egypt, where they won three gold medals and one bronze.
