Amazon organizer Jeff Bezos and his accomplice Lauren Sánchez are locked in, a source near two or three tells CNN.
There were no additional details available at this time regarding the upcoming wedding plans or the proposal.
In 2019, Bezos and Sánchez, a former broadcast journalist who is now a philanthropist, made their relationship public for the first time. Except for when they were photographed at various events, Bezos and Sánchez have mostly kept private details of their relationship since they started dating.
In their first joint sit-down interview, the couple discussed their philanthropic efforts to strategically distribute Bezos' vast wealth to a variety of causes in 2022 at their Washington, DC home.
Sánchez told CNN that they make "really great teammates" when it comes to their charitable endeavors, adding with a chuckle that they can also be "kind of boring."
Bezos proceeded to portray the Emmy grant winning columnist as "the most liberal, most large hearted individual that you could at any point meet," and said that she is "a motivation."
The billionaire, who is also the founder of the space company Blue Origin, was on a 2021 flight on Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket from space to earth.
Sánchez, who is also a former helicopter pilot, told CNN that she plans to go to space with "a great group of females" in the coming years.
Bezos has four children with MacKenzie Scott, with whom he was previously married for 25 years. Before divorcing in 2019, Sánchez and Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell were married for 13 years and had three children from previous relationships.
